With over four decades of experience across the United Kingdom and Sri Lanka, Thana Balasooriar Sritharan is a developer, project manager and civil engineer whose career spans major construction, executive leadership and property development. A former Chief Executive Officer of Capitol Towers Limited, his experience includes work on landmark projects such as Wembley Stadium and Canary Wharf Station in London, alongside Sri Lankan developments including Ocean Edge Suites, Nissala Villas, On Houses and Tisara Spa. This breadth of experience across complex construction, hospitality, coastal living and gated communities is brought together at The Village, shaping a development focused on quality, liveability and long-term value.
The Architect
Muditha Prematilaka, Director of MMP Architects (Pvt) Ltd.
Muditha Prematilaka is an award-winning Sri Lankan architect and founder of MMP Architects, with a portfolio spanning private residences, coastal villas, boutique hospitality and adaptive reuse. A Chartered Architect since 2004 and Fellow of the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects, his work includes On Houses in Weligama, Siri Weda Medura in Mirissa, Thalpe House and Khomba Beach House in Kalpitiya. His architecture responds closely to climate, landscape and the character of each site, an approach reflected at The Village through privacy, natural ventilation, generous indoor and outdoor living, and a strong connection to its South Coast setting.
